Dexter Trailer Axles
Dexter trailer axles are available in many sizes and they pretty much have the market cornered when it comes to small axles of 10,000 pounds and below. They have a wide variety of axle types for: * Car trailers * Toy Hauler trailers * Horse and livestock trailers * Utility trailers Dexter axle has the ability to custom build axles for most any width trailer. They are also well known for their variety of hub choices such as E-Z Lube Bearing Lubrication System and Nev-R-Lube Bearing Lubrication Systems. The E-Z Lube Bearing System is designed to make bearing maintenance a breeze. The system allows for grease to easily flow to both outer and inner bearings for a complete repack of the bearings. You don’t have to disassemble the whole system, all you do is attach your grease gun and inject the grease. You don’t even have to remove the trailer hub! The Nev-R-Lube Bearing Lubrication System is a sealed cartridge bearing system. This means that there is no need to pull the hubs to repack bearings or to replace the seals when checking trailer brakes. They have a pre-set adjustment for installation that is easy and practically human error free. These systems are pre-lubricated at the factory so you don’t have to worry about your system being contaminated. They are sealed for life for increased reliability and durability. This system really makes bearing maintenance easy because you don’t have to worry about it. Another great product from Dexter trailer axles is the Torflex axle and suspension system. This torsion axle system is complete with a torsion arm type suspension system, which is self-contained within the trailer axle. It attaches directly to the trailer frame through brackets and makes it easy because you don’t have to attach the suspension system separately. These Torsion trailer axles offer better suspension than the traditional leaf spring axles. They are an arrangement of a steel torsion bar that is surrounded by four natural rubber cords. These cords are encased in the many structure of the axle beam itself. These systems are also virtually maintenance free. No additional maintenance is required for the suspension, although you will want to give regular maintenance attention to your bearings, seals, wheels, tires and brakes. These trailer axles are also available with bearing lubrication options in the hub including the E-Z Bearing Lubrication System and the Nev-R-Lube Bearing Lubrication System.
