Owner of Double Axle Trailer

We have had 2 blown out Goodyear marathon 16 inch tires with in 3 weeks. Tires are CRAP. Do not buy them- we have 2 more on the trailer and you can feel the waves in them so you know they are going to go soon- we have had the blown tires to several tire stores and they said that there is NO way that a tire should shred the way that they have- they said that it is because of a poorly made tire. We were only doing 70 MPH and my husband makes sure that they are inflated to where they should be before we go anywhere. To top it off we usually only trailer about 5 miles and back to the lake. We went on 2 trips one was about 125 miles away and the other about 80 miles away and they blew on each trip. We do not even have I bet over 5,000 miles on the boat trailer. I have contacted Good Year on both blow out and have not heard back on either tire because several sites state that the tires have been on silent recall whatever that means- which was the year we bought our boat which I want to know why they were even still out there (the tires that is) I would buy different tires if you have not already got them.
