Founded in 1952 by TJ Reese, Reese Trailer Hitch sets the standard to which all other hitch companies compare themselves to. Computer aided design, finite element analysis, and extensive fatigue testing insures all Reese products perform at a higher level of quality and durability.
Reese currently employs about 800 people in there 375,000 sqft manufacturing and warehouse facility in Plymouth Michigan. State of the art CNC cutting and Robotic welding machines ensure repeatable quality manufacturing, while there E-Coat paint line keeps all of there products looking good indefinitely. In 1968 the RV industry looked to Reese to develop testing methods to gather trailer towing load data. That data eventually became the towing industries standard named V5 and SAEJ684.
