Hello my name is Mike Schantz,

Over the last several years I have built a wide range and variety of different style trailers. In fact, I grew up in the trailer business and I have more than 25 years experience. From large semi trailers at 55 feet to small, single axle utility trailers at less than 8 feet, I have built them all. My position has centered around the design and engineering of trailers. As the industry has grown, I have started on the manufacturing floor and worked my way up from there. At different points throughout my career I have also handled sales, marketing and customer service as well.

Now, I am Co-owner in two trailer companies (Schantz and Sons Inc. and UltraComp Trailers Inc.) and from working with thousands of people I have learned that most do not understand all of the information they need to know about their trailers, and thus, Trailer411.com has been created.
